Dr. Patti Blackmore graduated from the University Of Arizona with a degree in Agriculture in 1991 and continued her education at Colorado State University receiving her degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. After graduation, Dr. Blackmore returned to her home town of Mesa, Arizona where she practiced small animal medicine and surgery until she married Dr. William Blackmore and moved to Payson, AZ in 1996. In 2000, Dr. Blackmore opened Pine Country Animal Clinic. Pine Country Animal Clinic quickly grew from a one doctor to a three doctor practice. In 2010, Dr. Blackmore sold her clinic so that she and her family could relocate to their family farm in Louisiana, MO.
Dr. Blackmore enjoys all aspects of veterinary medical practice. In 2011, Dr. Blackmore founded Get Spot A Shot Pet Clinic. Dr. Blackmore's desire is to provide exceptional care while being compassionate to her patients and the people that love them. Dr. Blackmore and her staff strive to provide the finest in client education and customer service.
Dr. Blackmore's other passion lies in her desire to provide compassionate euthanasia services. Currently, Dr. Blackmore offers in home euthanasia services in the communities surrounding Louisiana, Missouri. She believes a pets last moments should be spent in familiar surrounding, with family at their side.
In February of 2018, Dr. Blackmore became an IVCA Certified Animal Chiropractor. Dr. Blackmore's desire to help animals live their best lives inspired her to attend chiropractic school. Dr. Blackmore is excited to combine her knowledge of sport horses and her chiropractic skills to enhance athletic performance. In dogs and cats, Dr. Blackmore is motivated to improve quality of life through chiropractic care.
In her free time, Dr. Blackmore enjoys spending time with her husband Bill, their twin daughters, Hanna and Olivia and all of their animals. She is passionate in her pursuit of the sport of Dressage. She also enjoys working out, cooking and reading.
